Shipping & Delivery Policy

1. Introduction

At Englander Singapore, we are committed to providing a smooth and reliable delivery experience for every customer. This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains our delivery schedules, service coverage, delivery fees, additional charges, and transportation services.

By placing an order with Englander.com.sg, you acknowledge and agree to this Shipping & Delivery Policy.


2. Delivery Coverage

We currently provide delivery throughout Singapore.

International deliveries may be arranged upon request and are subject to destination, freight availability, customs regulations, and additional shipping charges. Customers are responsible for all applicable freight costs, duties, taxes, customs clearance fees, and import requirements unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. Delivery Schedule

Deliveries are available:

Monday to Saturday

10:00 AM to 6:00 PM

There are no deliveries on Sundays or Singapore Public Holidays.

Our standard delivery time slots are:

  • 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM

  • 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM

  • 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM

While we will make every reasonable effort to deliver within the selected time slot, actual delivery times may vary due to weather conditions, traffic, operational requirements, or unforeseen circumstances.


4. Delivery Charges

New Purchases

In most cases, delivery of new Englander mattresses, bedframes and accessories is provided free of charge where delivery falls within normal handling requirements.

Deliveries that require additional manpower, specialised lifting equipment, crane services, restricted access, or other exceptional handling may incur additional charges.

Any such charges will be quoted before delivery is confirmed.


5. Delivery Confirmation

Our Customer Service team will contact you to confirm your delivery date and delivery time slot.

Please ensure:

  • Someone aged 18 years or older is available to receive the delivery.

  • The delivery address is accurate.

  • Access routes, lifts and staircases are suitable for the purchased products.

  • Adequate space has been prepared before delivery.

Failure to provide accurate delivery information may result in additional charges.


6. Delivery Cancellation or Postponement

If a confirmed delivery appointment is cancelled or postponed after confirmation, an administrative and logistics fee of

S$80 per delivery

will apply.


7. Redelivery Charges

If our delivery team is unable to complete the delivery due to:

  • No recipient present

  • Inaccessible premises

  • Incorrect delivery address

  • Refused delivery

  • Unsafe delivery conditions

  • Failure to provide necessary access

A redelivery fee of S$120 will apply for the subsequent delivery attempt.


8. Same-Day Urgent Delivery

Subject to vehicle availability and scheduling capacity, same-day urgent delivery may be arranged.

An urgent delivery surcharge of:

S$240

will apply.

Urgent delivery requests are not guaranteed and remain subject to operational availability.


9. Transportation of Existing Englander Products

Where requested during the delivery of a new purchase, Englander may transport an existing Englander mattress or bedframe to another location.

Transportation Fee:

S$180 per set

A "set" refers to:

  • One Englander mattress; or

  • One Englander bedframe or foundation.

This service covers transportation only.

Dismantling, assembly and disposal services are charged separately where applicable.


10. Shifting Services for Existing Customers

Existing Englander customers may engage our delivery team to relocate Englander products between addresses.

Transportation Fee:

S$240 per set

A "set" refers to:

  • One Englander mattress; or

  • One Englander bedframe or foundation.

This fee covers transportation only and excludes dismantling, assembly or disposal services.


11. Disposal Services

We offer disposal services for selected products during delivery.

Waterbed Disposal

Waterbeds will only be accepted for disposal if:

  • All water has been completely drained before our team's arrival; and

  • Disposal is scheduled as the final delivery stop of the day.

Disposal Fee:

S$240 per waterbed

We reserve the right to decline disposal if the waterbed has not been fully drained or cannot be handled safely.


12. Delivery Delays

Although we aim to deliver on the agreed schedule, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Severe weather

  • Heavy traffic

  • Vehicle breakdowns

  • Customs clearance

  • Supplier delays

  • Public emergencies

  • Government restrictions

  • Force majeure events

Englander shall not be liable for delays arising from such circumstances.


13. Failed Deliveries

If delivery cannot be completed because of circumstances attributable to the customer, including but not limited to:

  • Incorrect delivery information;

  • Premises inaccessible;

  • Lift restrictions;

  • Insufficient access clearance;

  • Failure to answer our delivery team;

  • Failure to prepare the premises;

Additional delivery charges may apply.


14. Inspection & Technical Service

Englander provides inspection services for eligible products.

Complimentary Inspection

Inspection of an Englander mattress, bedframe, foundation, recliner or sofa is provided free of charge during the first two (2) years from the original purchase date, subject to presentation of valid proof of purchase.

Inspection Fee

From the third year onwards, inspections are chargeable at:

S$100 per inspection

This inspection fee excludes replacement parts, repair costs and labour for component replacement, which will be quoted separately where applicable.

Inspection Hours:

Monday to Friday

10:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Appointments are required.


15. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for ensuring:

  • Accurate delivery information.

  • Safe and unrestricted access.

  • Sufficient space for product installation.

  • Protection of flooring and surrounding furnishings where necessary.

  • Compliance with condominium or building management delivery regulations.

Any additional charges imposed by building management remain the responsibility of the customer.
